PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION

Our facilities in Requena
provide over
3,500m² of storage capacity.

We have a cellar for ageing wine
that can hold 10,000 casks,
a temperature and humidity-
controlled bottle cellar for further
ageing, and sufficient shelf space
to hold stock for 50 camiones

levels of service guarantee.

We have a total annual
bottling capacity of over de 40 million bottles.

There arefive
bottling lines at Coviñas:
1. One line for standard 75cl bottles
with a nominal speed of 10,000
bottles/hour, which also allows
the production of carbonated wines.
2. Another line dedicated exclusively
to the standard production of 75cl
bottles with a measured speed of 7,000
bottles/hour.
3. Another line for special formats,
both small and magnum-sized, with
a nominal speed of 1,500 bottles/hour.
4. Oneline for Cava
5. One linesemi-automatic BAG IN BOX line.

In addition to standard bottling in
different volumes, we work with
special formats such as the BAG
IN BOX and KeyKeg. As a result of our
commitment to promoting
sustainability in the wine trade
we have invested in these
formats, as they are practical,
lightweight and recyclable.

Coviñas is the largest wine producer in the
Utiel Requena Denomination of Origin
and from the outset it has
had a clear focus on exports,
as is reflected in the percentage
of international sales, which
amount to80% of production.

We are active in both the horeca(hotel,
restaurant and café) and food sectors,
working in very different styles and
formats adapted to the needs of
each market, as shown by the fact
that are present in more than
35 countries.

Coviñas has a place in history as one of the
first producers of bottled wine in the Utiel-
Requena D.O., as well as being the largest in terms of volume.

Of the winery’s total production,
which exceeds 16 million bottles,
20% is sold in Spain.
