In the areas known as “El Matorral” and “El Rubial”, these plots of old vines cover 5.5 hectares and are the source of this high expression Bobal. The vines gain character from the highly stressed winegrowing environment, producing barely 2 kg of grapes per vine. These then undergo careful traditional winemaking and 24 months ageing in American and French oak casks, developing the structure and character that guarantees their long ageing capacity.
