Veterum Orange Wine
To make this unique wine, we select the fruit from some old Macabeo grapes grown in V-distribution on clayey-limestone soils and East-Western oriented vines which guarantee a correct ripening. Its typical amber colour comes from a traditional elaboration without a prior extraction and remounting for a minimum period of t15 days. This process provides the wine with a tannic content higher that usual on a white wine, besides its colour. This wine has not been filtered therefore a certain natural turbidity can be observed in its colour.
NOSE: Medium intensity with seed fruit notes, remembrance of citric fruit and peach notes.
TASTE: Soft, balanced, slightly sweet with a finish with hints of plum, apricot and dried fruit.
